John, a Chartered Town Planner, commenced his career in planning with East Suffolk County Council in 1973. After Local Government reorganisation, he joined Suffolk Coastal District Council where he remained for 14 years, leaving as a Principal Planning Officer. For four years he gained experience in private practice in Ipswich before moving to Needham Market and setting up John Peecock Planning in 1992. John specialises in many areas of planning including acting as an expert witness at Public Inquires, Informal Hearings, and dealing with large development schemes.
Leslie worked for Local Authorities in Wales and Suffolk for 8 years after which he joine an East Anglian firm of Surveyors before establishing his own surveying company in 1993. He merged with John Peecock to form Peecock Short in 2002. Leslie is both a Chartered Town Planner and Chartered Surveyor and has a wide range of experience in both disciplines often bringing a unique commercial market perspective to client projects.
Georgina joined the practice in 2005 after graduating from the University of Birmingham and is a Chartered Town Planner. She has significant experience in both urban and rural planning covering a wide variety of sectors. Georgina specialises in providing strategic planning advice to clients on the development plan process to ensure the protection of assets and the creation of development opportunities.
