The proposed scheme by Havebury Housing is for 8 affordable flats. Once the design process is complete, an application will be submitted to St Edmundsbury Borough Council in early November with determination in early 2012. The development is due to commence in Spring 2012.

Equity Estates (GB) Ltd will shortly submit Reserved Matters applications for the approval of details relating to a development site on the southern outskirts of Kings Lynn town centre. Kellard Place is a small commercial development site within which Equity Estates are to develop some retail floor space together with a pub for Greene King. Approval 'in principle' for this commercial development has already been granted by the Council and so Equity Estates' applications are for the approval of the detailed design of the individual properties.

In addition, Equity Estates also propose a new full application for a 68-bed Travel Lodge Hotel on the remainder of the site.
